The Christian Post - While most American churches except for a handful are preaching about outward prosperity with no inward wealth and jets and stuff that Jesus honestly could care less about; there are still some out there on the front line for the Kingdom of God and one man is Youcef Nadarkhani. Jailed since October of 2009, Youcef Nadarkhani is still imprisoned because he won't deny Christ in exchange for freedom. "Accused of trying to convert Muslims to Christians, he was originally arrested for protesting against the teaching of Islam in his children’s schools. The charges were however changed to apostasy and attempting to evangelize Muslims." Many have sought his release including U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and members of congress. Nadarkhani had refused an offer to be released from prison in exchange for his public acknowledgement of the prophet Muhammad as “a messenger sent by God,” as believed by adherents of Islam. Nadarkhani continues to await his verdict in an Iranian prison, while his wife and two sons continue hoping for his release."
2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us
